Best Restaurants with a Notable Wine List in Villanova

For over 40 years , my wife and I have celebrated our anniversary with good friends who were married 2 days apart from us. Many of the restaurants have come and gone (Deux Cheminee, La Camargue, Coventry Forge Inn, Vickers, etc). Sadly, our friend’s husband is gone, too, and for the last few years we have celebrated as a party of 3. Our table by a window had soft lighting. Service was attentive, but not overly so. The chef was kind to agree to substitute broccoli rabe for artichoke purée as a base for the Day Scallops, and to add anchovies to my awesome Caesar salad. My wife’s branzino was fabulous, as was my Barolo short rib. A caramel crunch brownie shared by 3 was the finishing touch. Savona, a cut above!

Excellent service, Excellent food ! Lovely atmosphere and waitress was a gem! Only thing was half way thru our business meeting a group was seated next to us and they were quite loud. Just a little distracting. ..hard to talk amongst our group. No one's fault ..Just our experience. Otherwise a fabulous place!

Always good. The mushroom soup is delicious. Service was excellent. We sat near the windows which was pleasant.

Amazing experience today at Autograph Brasserie! I came with a party of 11 split between 2 tables; they were very kind to accommodate our tables to sit near each other. The food was amazing, our server was attentive and knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Outstanding! I can’t wait to come back, what a great day.

This was a birthday lunch for a customer who frequents often with his family. There was a sign on the table that said "Birthday" but nothing was brought out to him, not even a mini dessert.
