Best Open Kitchen Restaurants in Piedmont Heights

One of my favorite spots for brunch on a Saturday or Sunday in Buckhead. The service is always top notch, the menu is varied and thus far I've never been disappointed with the quality of the meals I've ordered. It can be a tad noisy at times, but if you sit on the patio, you can avoid most of the energy pulsating from the main dining room. Lots of parking conveniently located around the restaurant and their app for booking a reservation is easy to use. Overall, I would have to give Taverna-Buckhead a five-star rating!

The food was undeniably good, with dishes that were well-prepared and flavorful. However, the experience felt rushed, as the courses arrived almost immediately after one another, leaving little time to savor each dish. Additionally, the ambiance was less than ideal due to the constant opening of the door to the outside, which brought in unwelcome drafts and made it difficult to relax. A bit more attention to pacing and temperature control would elevate the dining experience significantly.

My family and I had an absolutely phenomenal dining experience at Arnette's Chop Shop. From start to finish, everything was flawless. We started with the octopus and fried lobster bites—both were perfectly prepared and packed with flavor. For our main courses, we ordered the spinalis and filet, both cooked to a perfect medium rare as requested. The steaks were tender, juicy, and expertly seasoned, making them some of the best we've ever had. To top off the evening, we shared the ice cream sundae, which was the perfect sweet ending to an incredible meal. The service was also top-notch. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel truly welcome throughout the evening. Arnette's Chop Shop delivered a five-star experience, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommend!

Atmosphere was comfortable. Was my first time here, came for the Christmas Eve buffet and enjoyed ourselves. Service and staff was very welcoming. A little pricey for the buffet giving the amount of options but I guess the quality of the dishes made up for it. Paid $120 for 2 ppl before tax and gratuity. Will have to come in for regular service. The food was delicious enough to make me want to come back.

Our family picked Amalfi Cucina in downtown Atlanta because it came up as an Italian option on Open Table app. It was a fantastic find and great food, service and all around great experience.
