After a two-year closure, Original Joe's, San Francisco’s quintessential Italian-American dining destination, revitalized iconic Daly City institution Joe’s of Westlake, and reintroduced it into the community as Original Joe’s Westlake. An anchor of Daly City from 1956 to 2014, Original Joe’s Westlake underwent an extensive two-year renovation, complete with a front-to-back interior remodel, including the kitchen and all dining spaces, and an exterior and landscaping overhaul. Following the Original Joe’s tradition, Westlake continues to prepare unpretentious, old-school Italian-American fare in an open kitchen for all to see. Been a customer here for over 50 years. Nott hensame owners but original Joes in SF knows their clients. They improved the ambiance at Westlake Joe's but the food remains the star. Burgers on the sourdough, stellar. Wish the fries were still steak cut though. Salads were yummy and ample in size. Just go and enjoy the Italian we grew up with in the SF Beach area.

Have visited Dalida a few times and it’s been consistently amazing - from the food, to the wine/cocktail program, and the awesome staff! It’s a beautiful space too - and extra lovely on a sunny day! Thanks for the warm and inviting experience and delicious food!

I tried the Hemproot NA Cocktail, based on ginger beer and loved it. Very sweet, though. We shared an appetizer of grilled octopus, which came with some fava beans, and a lovely sauce -- it was delicious. He had a very spicy italian sausage pasta dish which he enjoyed, and I had the farro salad as my entree and loved it -- farro, butternut squash, kale, mint, spiced pumpkin seeds, and passion fruit seeds. I also had a glass of Syrah with my meal, which was great. We'll be coming back and trying more of their dishes.
