Best Open Kitchen Restaurants in Downtown

In my opinion, one of the best culinary experience in Montreal. Authentic, and very ceremonial, Japanese food in a omakase setting. 12-14 seats, 300$ per person fixed menu. 20+ courses. Everything is incredibly well executed. I love the attention to detail in every dish, plates, cups, etc… all in all I believe this is a must try!

My partner and I celebrated our anniversary at this charming Italian restaurant, and it was an experience we won’t forget. Initially, we were seated at a standard table, but the noise level was a bit louder than we anticipated. We decided to move to the bar seats, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. The intimate setting at the bar offered a more peaceful and relaxed atmosphere, making the evening even more special. We opted for the tasting menu, and every dish was a delight. The cocktails and drinks were expertly crafted, complementing the meal perfectly. Our server was not only attentive but also incredibly knowledgeable, answering all of our questions with care and providing excellent drink recommendations. Overall, we had a fantastic time and truly enjoyed the experience from start to finish. We would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy exceptional Italian cuisine. We’ll definitely be back!

We were warmly welcomed by the staff, had excellent service and the food was excellent. The staff took into consideration that we were a little rushed as we were going to a show nearby, service was quick. All the different meals ordered (platter, salad, burgers) were delicious and generous portions. We will return !

The decor is stunning, I love the style! The food was amazing and we are glad to have found a new spot in Montreal. The restaurant had a large table, so it was fairly busy, and service a bit slow. However, they are a brand new establishment and still working out the kinks. I really enjoyed the menu and every bite. We will be back and would highly recommend Sea-Me to foodies. You will be in for a treat!
