- AAndreaPalm Springs / Palm Desert Cities •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoThere’s a reason why this place is always busy! The food is incredible, service was welcoming and fun, and the ambiance was impeccable. Great for a date night, for friends and family or a solo date at the bar top.More infoSaffy'sPrice: Expensive• Middle Eastern• East Hollywood•4.8

We’ve never been here before and picked it as it was so close to the theater. We’ll definitely come back tho! The menu is limited but the food was very good! The broccolini with feta cheese was the star for sure-so delicious! We also got the Frankie (?) pizza and the jalapeño peppers gave it a tasty bite! The staff were all friendly and professional and even the manager who chatted with us was very personable! Couple that with the beautiful and subdued decor and you have a winning experience! We’ll be back!More infoJemma HollywoodPrice: Expensive• Italian• Hollywood•4.6

- IIraPhiladelphia County •3 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 18, 2024Shirley Brasserie was a wonderful dining experience that paired the great atmosphere of the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel with great food. The Restaurant occupies a quiet part of the Lobby area and is large enough to find seating but intimate enough to feel separated from other diners. The menu is spartan but focused, as is the wine list. The appetizers we had were first-rate and handsomely presented. I would recommend the chicken liver mousse, as it was special and hadn't seen it elsewhere. I consider myself an expert on duck and generally prefer it roasted, as many restaurants don't really have the expertise to properly sear it. Not true here. The duck was properly spiced and glazed and seared just right. For this style of preparation, I've not had better. The Shirley Brasserie is not inexpensive, but considering the quality of the food and service (which was also outstanding), I would rate it as a good value. Something for a special occasion.More infoShirley BrasseriePrice: Expensive• French American• Hollywood•4.5
