- DDesireeOrlando / Central Florida East •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoCasa Mono is quaint and cozy. You are so close to the people around you that it would be impolite not to start a conversation. It was through this conversation that we got two recommendations. Since it is a tapas bar and it was two of us, we were advised to get four to six dishes. We opted for six, which included the sardinas fritas, pulpo, skirt steak, duck breast, braised oxtail, and the brussel sprouts. When I say everything is delicious, I mean EVERYTHING! However, I did have a favorite. Believe it or not, it was the brussel sprouts. I think I can honestly eat it every day for the rest of my life! I can't remember what the dessert was called that I had, but it was with ice cream, a chocolate ganache, and some kind of cookie. It was light but also decadent. Also, keep in mind the vast array of wines to choose from, but the sommellier is right there to assist. It was truly a lovely experience, and we are already planning to go back.More infoCasa MonoPrice: Very Expensive• Spanish• Union Square•4.7

The staff was extremely attentive and the overall ambience was friendly and not overly formal.More infoPark Ave Kitchen by David BurkePrice: Expensive• American• Midtown East•4.5
- LLaceyVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI absolutely adore Gjelina in LA (it is a staple for me) and felt like dinner here lived up to my very high expectations. I’m not sure why folks have negative reviews on here— this is truly one of the best meals I’ve had in awhile in the city.More infoGjelina - New YorkPrice: Expensive• Farm-to-table• East Village•4.6
- NNicholasSacramento / Sacramento Valley •5 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoMy wife and I made reservations ahead of our trip to NYC, and I'm so glad we did. We had foie gras, air-dried beef and honey-roasted figs. The foie did not come with crostini, but all we had to do was ask, and we had some toasted bread to spread the foie on, and it was as delicious as I remember. For dinner, I had scallop and paella with roasted pumpkin and sage. The scallops were perfectly cooked: tender, not stringy, with a good crust. My wife had short rib and aligot potatoes; the short rib was tender and well cooked, but could have been seasoned a bit more strongly. The aligot potatoes were cheesy, but not quite "stringy" (sorry IG; no epic cheese pulls here). We wrapped up the evening with a peanut-butter filled chocolate lava cake. Our server was so fantastic, Macie was so welcoming and attentive, and we enjoyed chatting with her as she came to take our orders or check in on how things were going. She did a wonderful job taking care of us. I'd definitely come back next time we're around.More infoTavern on the GreenPrice: Expensive• American• Midtown West•4.7
