- PPaulvipLos Angeles •4 reviews4.0Dined 4 days agoThe food was good! However, we felt a rushed toward the end of our dinner, even though it wasn’t yet closing time. Our server approached us multiple times about payment, which made the experience feel a bit hurried and the restaurant was quiet.More infoMr. TPrice: Expensive• Contemporary French• Hollywood•4.6
- JJamesvipLos Angeles •43 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoConnor, was our server. He provided professional & thoughtful service to us, again. Jemma is an outstanding restaurant w/ excellent food. It allows us to conveniently park next door, & dine there, before attending the Pantages. And storing & refrigerating our leftovers, to be reclaimed after the theater, is sheer genius; along w/ pairing a couple of menu items w/ the current Pantages performance.More infoJemma HollywoodPrice: Expensive• Italian• Hollywood•4.6
- IIraPhiladelphia County •3 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 18, 2024Shirley Brasserie was a wonderful dining experience that paired the great atmosphere of the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel with great food. The Restaurant occupies a quiet part of the Lobby area and is large enough to find seating but intimate enough to feel separated from other diners. The menu is spartan but focused, as is the wine list. The appetizers we had were first-rate and handsomely presented. I would recommend the chicken liver mousse, as it was special and hadn't seen it elsewhere. I consider myself an expert on duck and generally prefer it roasted, as many restaurants don't really have the expertise to properly sear it. Not true here. The duck was properly spiced and glazed and seared just right. For this style of preparation, I've not had better. The Shirley Brasserie is not inexpensive, but considering the quality of the food and service (which was also outstanding), I would rate it as a good value. Something for a special occasion.More infoShirley BrasseriePrice: Expensive• French American• Hollywood•4.5
- BBrendanLos Angeles •1 review4.0Dined on Aug 26, 2024The rooftop was killer. Just beautiful views. The outdoor space is just sweet. I thought the price for the food was over rated. Kinda basic. Nothing extra. But expensive. I’d go back to the roller rink for drinks but that’s it.More infoE.P.+ L.P.Price: Moderate• Californian• West Hollywood•4.1
