   Incredible meal and wonderful service. Best service in years. Would highly recommend! And it was packed because it was New Years Eve. Definitely our new favorite!

   I had the steak filet cooked medium and it was perfect, so tender and lovely. The lobster bisque was superb and deliciously creamy. I upgraded my salad to the spinach with hot bacon dressing and it was wonderful. Fresh cracked pepper was offered for both salad and soup and it really takes the meal up a notch for that fresh flavor. My partner and I also shared a maple bacon bbq chicken pizza and I was pleasantly surprised. The crust was top notch since I believe they use a wood-fired pizza oven, couldn’t tell. I had the Christmas Punch cocktail and loved it. Not too boozey and not too weak. The staff was pleasant, friendly, and professional, and very attentive. They kept water goblets full and I must say even the table water was fantastic tasting. The atmosphere made you feel like you were in a high end restaurant. I was, unfortunately, facing a wine cabinet, but my partner had a wonderful view of the rest of the restaurant where he could people-watch and enjoy some of the water fountains they have inside. We both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will come back for dessert since we were too full after our dinners.

   We love Fields and the food is spectacular, always! But NYE wasn’t very enjoyable; we had reservations for 3 months and were asked to sit in the bar at a high top table where it was loud and very cold with horrible service. (I know we could have said no to that table, but we didn’t). No one came during the main course to see if the steak was cooked right or how we were, would have gotten another drink. Asked for butter when potato came, never got the butter. No one asked to take our coats like usual and no towels were brought after dinner, but others got them. Very disappointed. We will be back and hope to see the top notch service we have seen in the past. The day of the year should not matter.

   Great food and service - love having this option nearby to Baraboo. Good options for the kids too. We had especially attentive & great service tonight - thank you for a memorable meal.

    The wait was less than 2 minutes. We did reservations weeks in advance. The staff was absolutely amazing. The food was served quick and hot! Everything was 10/10. Will definitely go back.
