   The service was far worse than we’d ever have expected. Refills were almost impossible to get. I’d say the dining room was 80% capacity so it was hard to see a reason as to why. Even after we asked for more water, it was still very slow. Literally two refills the entire meal. We had to ask for them even after the server walked by and saw the empty glasses. At other similar establishments, I’ve never had to ask for more water. We felt rushed. We had bread before cocktails. Our meal came out in the middle of cocktails. It was not the best experience. Very disjointed.

   MY FIRST TIME AT FLEMING...MY EXPERIENCE WAS MODERATE AND DIDN'T MEET MY EXPECTATION FROM THE SERVICE. I STILL TIP MY WAITRESS BUT WE BARELY SAW HER...ONLY HAD ONE CUP OF TEA. WE ORDER A DESERT WITH ICE CREAM AND SHE BROUGH US OUT FORKS TO EAT IT WITH...AND WE HAD TO ASK HER FOR SPOON...MY WIFE AND I WILL TRY IT AGAIN AND WILL NOT BAN THE RESTAURANT BUT FROM WHAT WE NOTICED THE WAITRESS ONLY HAD THREE TABLES....SHE DOESN'T MATCH THE ENERGY OF THE RESTAURANT OR THE PRICES. YOUR PEER COMPETITION WILL BEAT YOU ON TREATMENT AND PRESENCE....RUTH CHRIS NEVER GIVES THAT KIND OF DETACHMENT...YOUR PLACE IS TOO PRICEY TO GET AVERAGE SERVICE.

   It was Valentine's Day, so the restaurant was very busy, and the noise level was very high. Overall though, we had a great time and a great meal.

   Surf and Turf is always yummy! Easy to share. Only negative was the drawn butter was cold, better if warm. Great choice for special occasions.

   Fleming’s is a great choice for a special occasion dinner. It can be done on a budget or you can go all out for an even cooler experience. 10/10

   The crab legs were wonderful and just enough. The brussel sprouts were good but not what you would call roasted. The sweet potatoes were tasty but they were yams in sauce and not roasted at all. The “roasted” yams and sweet potatoes were completely different than when I had them in January. Server was nice but a bit too hovering. I told the manager when she came around for comments about the annoying knat that kept us company while eating. She said that there were in fact two and she had an appointment for them to go and fog. It wasn’t a negative experience at all but this is my honest review.

   The service isn’t as good when you have a party of 5 or more. Since they automatically charge gratuity for parties of that size, the service was slow and subpar.

    My wife and I visited Fleming’s last night based on a friend’s recommendation. The atmosphere and service were both good, but overall, the experience didn’t live up to the high price point. We both ordered steaks—she had the bone-in filet, and I had the bone-in ribeye. Her steak was undercooked, gray in color, but tasted okay—nothing special. My ribeye was just average and a bit tough. I also question whether it was really the 20 oz it claimed to be. For a place known for steaks, we expected more. Drinks were another story—no draft beer available, and mixed drinks were about $20 each. We also ordered a baked potato as a side, which cost $17. I’ve never paid that much for a baked potato before, and honestly, it tasted like something I could make at home. While we had a good date night, the food was underwhelming, especially for the price. We probably won’t be back. If you're looking for a great steak in Memphis, we’ve had better experiences at Capital Grille and Porch & Parlor.
