Located in DC's Dupont Circle neighborhood, in a historic brick stone row house that has been converted into a cozy restaurant, but hasn't given up the feel of coming over to someones home for dinner. 5 course Prix Fix Valentines menu. Everything was on point. Mascarpone bruschetta, mushroom soup, short rib ragu pasta, branzino, finished off with a chocolate temptation and a nice bottle of wine. Service was excellent, area is cute, dining is on the main floor of an old house. Very nice.

Excellent meal and service as usual. Very energetic crowd last evening so it was a bit noisy. I will go back and am happy to recommend Floriana to others.

This was one of the best italian restaurants I have ever been to. The ambience of a small cozy house, and elevated service only added to the experience.

My husband is a classically trained chef and even he praised the tastiness of Floriana’s food. All of it: appetizers, salad, mains, and yes especially dessert. Bravo.

We had a wonderful dinner with friends who were in from out of town. Delicious, refined Italian food that hit the perfect balance between comfort and something special. We'll definitely be back!

Walking into the restaurant, I was impressed. The decor and ambiance are muted yet classy. The service was on point, everyone was great. The ARANCINI to start was delicate and tasteful; the sauce was not salty, not too much cheese, and not over fried. Just perfect. The SHORT RIB AGNOLOTTI was sublime, heavenly, the meat just melted in my mouth. It was so delicious. Of course we had to end with the TIRAMISU which was not too sweet and not coffee forward tasting which is just how I like it. This is the best Italian food I have had in years! I'll be back for sure. 5 stars!!!

In my humble opinion, Floriana is one of the finest restaurants that Washington D.C. has to offer. The food is fabulous and the service is simply the best! You would not regret giving this wonderful establishment a try.
