   Always a wonderful experience at French Market Grill in Surrey Center. It was Mardi Gras so they had great entertainment, gave beads away too! The food was delicious and came out hot. Service was fast even though they were swamped. The guests were even treated to a piece of King Cake after their meal to celebrate!

   We had a reservation and still sat 30 minutes before being served any water or bread. The place just seemed understaffed. Our waiter was nice and helpful, just took 2.5 hours to eat. Not quite as good as it used to be back in the day!

   The She Crab soup was the best I have ever had. Usually chefs get the cream sauce to thick or to much sherry. This was the perfect blend. Had the Shrimp and grits with jambalaya. It was excellent. My husband had the fried shrimp and got a cup of she crab soup as well.
