Froggy’s French Café has been serving Chicago’s North Shore award winning French cuisine for almost 40 years. Known for our ambiance, friendly knowledgeable service and presentation we serve the freshest seafood and vegetables and steaks.

We recommend starting with a glass of wine, a bowl of French Onion Soup or escargot appetizer, and then move on to our seasonal seafood mains, fresh pastas or our classic steak and frits. Froggy's is a wonderful dining experience. The elaborate menu provides a great variety of meat and fish and the food is high quality and well prepared. Even the bread and french cultured butter is special and you don't need to ask for it. Thierry still has what it takes. Try the Cassoulet paired with the Cote du Rhone. It was fabulous.

Froggy’s has been our go to restaurant for decades. Unfortunately, food quality has greatly deteriorated and is certainly not worthy of its past history and present costs.

Fabulous food and wines. The service is always good. Save room for dessert! The chocolate mousse cake is phenomenal! Everything there is great. Perfect for a fun night with friends, celebrations, or romance!

I took my mom to Froggys 30 years ago. When we came back it hadn’t changed a bit. Outdated and old is an understatement. The food was sub-par and didn’t warrant the prices. Very disappointed.

This restaurant has a good French bistro ambience. Service was average. Food was very disappointing, for the prices. Doubtful we will return or recommend
