The Gabriel Archer Tavern was built in 1987 on footprints of an old farm shed. Today, its mission is to provide a memorable farm-to-table dining experience that's both delicious and nourishing.

In addition to a half-acre produce garden and greenhouse on site where lettuces and herbs will be grown, our chef works hard to find local farmers as partners in producing a menu oriented towards fresh and seasonal specialties.

Our wide variety of fresh selections from our unique menu will guarantee that everyone in your party leaves with a smile.

    My Daughters birthday! Excellent Food! Marriott recommended and it did not disappoint! Great service! Overall great experience! Highly recommend!!

    Never disappointed at the Gabriel Archer Tavern!! Delicious bloody Mary’s, the breakfast BLT was delicious. The turkey and Brie is our go to and all of us who ordered it was pleased! Our waitress made us homemade honey mustard dressing!!! What?!?! Awesome!! Can’t come to The a winery without having a meal at The Tavern!

    Turnip/crab soup is delicious. The ham/turkey sandwich with brie and berry preserves was yummy. The wine flight was enjoyable.

    Wonderful food and great wine. Was looking for upscale fare without the need to get dressed above business casual and this place was perfect. Service was also fantastic. We were running a bit late for our end of night reservation. The hostess graciously seated us after we called to let them know we were stuck in accident related traffic, and our server never ince made us feel rushed. In gact we were not ever the last table sitting when we left.

    I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a truly a memorable experience at the restaurant nestled in a beautiful vineyard setting. We started with some delicious bread with a glass of their house white wine. For my meal I opted for the fettuccine was flavorful &perfectly cooked. My sister had the turkey on Brie….omg DELICIOUS!!! The service was attentive without being intrusive. We followed up with a tour and wine tasting. A truly entertaining experience…will definitely be returning!!! Williamsburg’s hidden gem❤️

    Great place, atmosphere, our crabcake lunch was excellent. Noted a birthday event on the reservation but it was not acknowledged so I would only wonder why Open Table would ask if the reservation involved a special event. Other than that, overall a neat place.

    Had lunch there while waiting for our reserve wine tour and tasting. We dined outside under the pergola. Food was very good.
