   The menu is solid, with German and Bavarian favourites, the staff are super friendly and the building is beautiful. The main issue is the price, this food isn’t made to be this expensive and travelling to Germany a lot you kind of feel stung eating here. I do believe it’s not the restaurant’s fault though, it’s more London prices in general. Ironically I would still say it’s worth a visit just be prepared as I’ve warned you now. :)

   Very busy and buzzy restaurant. I had the veal schnitzel which was a generous portion but a tad tough. Warm potato salad and berries went well with the dish. Amazingly quick service and good wines.

   Good food and ambience, service was a little slow as they were busy but not awfully so. Food was good and the ambience was great

   The German Gym is a unique dining experience in a unique & historic space. It manages to have the atmosphere of a busy european Grand Cafe, which is reinforced by the multi-cultural clientele passing through the Kings X / St Pancras transport hub. Service is crisp, friendly and informed with the staff showing genuine interest in their diners. A favorite spot for me, especially as I enjoy good German weissbier and wurst, although there is so much more on offer.

   Nice place, vegan portions are small though. We had to wait ages to have our order taken, but food arrived promptly.

   Staff were inattentive. They were out of certain staple menu items. There were paper napkins on some place settings and cloth napkins on others. It seemed as if none of them cared about delivering a positive guest experience.
