Always exceeds my standard for Mexican-Colombian cuisine! The flavors are always fantastic! There’s something for everyone- from authentic traditional dishes to standard tacos and burritos, you can’t go wrong. It’s dim, cozy, and the service is always incredible. Highly recommend.

As always a yummy meal at Gonza. Enjoyed the brunch mimosa flight! And as always, great friendly service, including our waiter in training, Jake! And his trainer, Lizbeth! Will return again and again.

Our waiter was terrible; he never came to our table. We asked for chips three times and finally had to wave someone else down to get them. When we checked in, minutes later, another hostess asked the same hostess if we had checked in, and she said no, indicating that the next party should be called. I was glad I was standing there to correct her. Overall, it was a mess. At the end, it took 20 minutes to receive our receipt.

tonight was our second visit to the restaurant in two weeks and I was with different parties each time. Everybody loved the food and service was great! We will definitely be back and check out other locations as well as the Wake Forest location.

Let''s start with the good news...because there''s lots to like about Gonza. This is "elevated" Mexican-Colombian food, made to perfection and presented with flair. Our server, Destiny, was upbeat and very helpful in her recommendations. The ambience was engaging and attractive; wall decorations lent an air of authenticity to the "vibe." The only thing I didn''t especially appreciate was that Gonza automatically adds a 20% tip (I''m assuming for parties above a certain size). It didn''t affect the tip Destiny would have received, but I didn''t especially like the freedom to determine my tip taken away from me. Had our experience not been so good, it would have left a bad taste in our mouths.

Impromptu date night. Food was wonderful, drinks were good. We had an 8:00 reservation, without realizing the restaurant closed at 830. We did think it was odd it wasn’t as packed as it has been in the past, but fine by us. Consistently good
