We are a New York landmark with Guastavino tiled vaulted ceilings located on the lower level of the magnificent Grand Central Terminal.

Our dining hours are from 11:30 AM to our last seating at 9:30 PM Monday through Friday. We are eager to serve you again!

    From the time we arrived it took 20 mins for us to be recognised by a waiter who explained that they had had a computer problem and apologised for the initial wait. However, it was 50-mins in total before we received our first course (Oysters) which were excellent. I had two glasses of wine, Conundrum which was under-chilled, and a Californian Sauv. which was also on the warm side. My other half had non-alcoholic beer which was correctly chilled. She had the scallops which were generally good but the veg was massively overcooked. I had the black sea bass filet (special), which was a substantial portion, but also overcooked. It was presented on a coconut cassava puree which tasted like lumpy mashed potatoes. All-in-all rather disappointing.

    25 minutes between being seated and first contact with a server Food was good, especially the excellent oysters Wine was very good Market seems to have changed: when first dined there in 80s crowd seemed filled with commuters and office workers Now lots of tourists and familiy groups with children

    Came here for a birthday dinner and it was great. We had a reservation and were seated promptly after showing us around a little. The fried oysters and Caesar with crab and shrimp were exceptional- SO MUCH meat! The waiter helped choose oysters and they were delicious. Can’t wait to return! The busser and hostess were also lovely!

    Wide variety of seafood dishes. Quality of oysters superb. The rest (Salmon, Thuna, Sandwich) was ok but nothing to write home about. Service was professional but rather uninspired.
