   Had to wait very long for the waiter to come, then he forgot to bring drinks, food was good as always and at last the waiter forgot to bring the bill. We were kind of disappointed about our visit at HRC.

   Where do I start. We booked the table for 5 over 2 months in advance for our son’s 21st Birthday who we were travelling to New York from the UK for. We arrived on time and, despite a short delay in being seated, we were escorted to the restaurant area. We were placed on a table for 4 with an additional chair on the end but didn’t make an issue of this as it’s something we’ve become used to as a family of 5. We then waited over 20 minutes for someone to take our order. After a further 20 minutes I asked where our drinks were and they eventually arrived around 5 minutes later. Move on a further 15 minutes and our food finally arrived. No huge issues at this stage. As we were finishing our meals our plates were cleared as each of us finished our meals. A little unusual? I was the last to finish but the waitress started taking dessert orders whilst I was still eating. I eventually finished my main course and we all had empty glasses but nobody had asked if we would like a further drink. Roll on to the deserts and potential 21st birthday celebration and… nothing. Desserts came and went and still no offer of a drink. After a further 20 minutes we asked for the cheque which duly arrived with an advisory laminate explaining what was expected with regards to tips. At this point we called the waitress over and explained that we wouldn’t be paying any tips. She offered to escalate the issue to a Manager but we declined. Despite this a Manager was called who took the time to provide excuses why our experience wasn’t up to standard. After arguing his case for a good 10 minutes, and despite us stating we just wanted to pay the bill and leave, he took a good chunk of money off the bill. However, when we went to pay it, he said the only reason we’d made a complaint was because the waitress was black. Horrified, we left the restaurant! It’s fair to say we won’t be coming back.    First class service from start too finish Front row staff very helpful in getting us seated & our server was great

   We were very disappointed. It started when we arrived - we were told to wait despite the reservation. No one took care of us only when we asked what was going on somebody came to take us to the table. Then we set there for 20 minutes - no one came to take the order. Only when we asked kindly after 40’ if the restaurant also offers drinks and food the order was taken. I prefer wine but I did not receive what I ordered. My husband ordered a beer which was forgotten and arrived after we finished the fois. Overall we cannot recommend anybody to go there. I’m very sorry to give that feedback as we wanted to have a nice evening and it wasn’t.

   A large number of tables were not in use which didn’t help with the ambience (and people were queuing outside for approx 30-40 mins for the tables that were in use). Our server didn’t explain the ordering process in that he took appetiser orders and then came back for entree orders after we had eaten the appetiser’s which seemed very strange and confusing. There were no draft beers available. Apparently they had run out over thanksgiving and were waiting for their order. How can a Hard Rock in NYC run out of beer? Some drinks appeared, others didn’t so we had to chase. The entrees were mainly awful. We sent back four from six meals (all burgers) as they were both underdone and cold. The restaurant did make new food very quickly but the quality was poor. We did complain to the staff and on receipt of the bill, the food had been removed and we only paid for drinks. Only right in the circumstances but it spoiled the last night of our holiday and we would have preferred to have had a great experience/food and paid for it.

   We find the choice of the ampunt of tip way to highcomparing to the service we got. The toilets are very very dirty. We didn"t have a good Hardrock cafe experience. The resetvation desk was not very helpfull

   Compared to other Hard Rock Cafes, the burger patties here are much smaller. The air in the restaurant is very bad, they carry smoking food through the restaurant, the smoke hurts in the eyes and irritates the airways. After a visit, the clothes smell like a chimney. Burgers are lovelessly draped over a few fries. I am very disappointed with this Hard Rock Cafe

   Es ist für uns bei jedem Städte Trip ein Pflichttermin und war auch hier in New York City ein toller Abend! Jedoch wer den Service von den Hardrock Cafés in London, Barcelona und Lissabon kennt, das zuvorkommend sein, die Sauberkeit und Ordnung der Tische und einfach den ganze Flair, es ist hier leider in New York etwas schlechter! Etwas chaotisch beim servieren, es dürften nicht alle Mitarbeiter so gut geschult sein wie in anderen Standorten, aber trotzdem alle sehr freundlich! Auch der ganze Style des Restaurants geht in New York eigentlich unter, kennen wir noch besser und cooler woanders!

    Our food was overcooked. When the manager came to address the issue, they didn’t really listen to our concerns but simply took our plates and left. Aside from that, everything else was fine.
