Harry & Izzy's is an independent, upscale American Grill located on Indy's Northside. Its ambiance exudes class and sophistication in a comfortable setting. While the lively bar is Harry & Izzy's focal point, we offer unique dining rooms and a beautiful second floor mezzanine overlooking the restaurant. This sister restaurant to the famous St. Elmo Steak House, shares a few classic dishes (such as the St. Elmo Shrimp Cocktail and prime-aged steaks), while offering more menu variety.     We always visit for our anniversary and left really disappointed. Normally, prime rib sandwiches are great tasty, not at all this time, absolutely horrible. With at least 70+% fat, both our sandwiches, just gross. Our server didn’t charge for the sandwiches after mentioning but laughed at how they charged for the brownie that normally is a gesture for celebrating after reservation. She received hers and I didn’t care for anything else after this. I’m more amazed that the kitchen didn’t notice this and very disappointed folks. Thank you for our memorable anniversary dinner at Harry&Izzy, great job 🙄

    The service was excellent. Server was friendly, helpful and professional. The filet with the redskin mashed potatoes was great. The brownie desert was really good too!

    Overall the Northside Harry & Izzy's is fantastic! The food is phenomenal, the drinks are great and the location is easy to find. However, we were less impressed with the wait staff and hostesses. Not overly friendly and they did not seem to have the knowledge of the menu and history. The bartender was AMAZING and engaged us in great conversation. We just ate at the downtown Harry & Izzy's last Friday and decided to go with the Northside because we were in that area. Next time, we will make the drive downtown because it is superior due to the ambiance and the staff's knowledge and passion for what they do and serve.

    Harry & Izzy's is our new favorite restaurant to take out of town friends and family to and they always love it. Everyone loves the ambiance. I especially appreciate how the kitchen made an extra effort to accommodate a very restricted diet that I am currently on. They went above and beyond expectations. I highly recommend this restaurant.
