Hugo's is a wonderful old-line restaurant in the Four Queens in Vegas. The service is second to none and the atmosphere is warm and comfortable. The menu is a delight, and the food of meats and seafood is incredible. This restaurant is old time Vegas dining at its best. First class in every way.

Group of 3. Salad bar good variety very fresh honey walnut dressing was great prepared table side by a friendly water. We don’t eat a lot so we asked to split the steak (rib eye) 3 ways and didn’t mind any up charge associated with it. This was met with a great deal of whining and speculation. The waitress acted like we were the first people in the world to ask for this. Kept going back and forth to “talk to the chef”. Finally this was granted to us. The choices of steaks were 16 oz which was way too much for any of us to finish on our own and would be wasted. So the $96 steak comes out and is not medium rare and certainly not a high quality steak and not tender at all. The baked potato was over done and I felt like it had been sitting awhile. The Brussels sprouts were just about raw. Our server was non existent and she did not check on us but ignored us most of the time. I think she thought we were dead beats or a pain for her. Maybe we were given a bad steak because of this? The other waiters did a great job and tried to check on us. The little dessert strawberries were outstanding. I think Hugo’s should consider changing to a high end Italian place with its wonderful old style decor and inability to put out a good steak. My advice don’t plan on sharing a meal there. I would have given a 2.5 but I didn’t want to downgrade to a 2 because the other servers were so helpful.

An absolute treat! There were four in our party. The restaurant is located downstairs beneath the casino in what feels like a soothing, comfortable, warmly-decorated cave. We were seated promptly at the time of our reservation. We were welcomed and were waited on continuously without need for anything. Within just moments of ordering drinks, the best espresso martinis arrived, served very impressively, to our table. Salads were custom-made to our liking in a unique fashion also. Dinner was nothing short of divine! All of us enjoyed cooked-to-perfection steak, filet, shrimp and crab. Although prices are Vegas-like, the portions were generous and the meals included all the fixings, unlike so many other Vegas establishments. By far a superior meal and experience. Will definitely come back next time we’re in Vegas.

A visit to Hugo’s is always wonderful! The food is excellent, but it’s the people and service that really elevate the overall experience. Top notch in every way!

I’ve been going to Hugo’s Cellar every Las Vegas trip for about 50 years and it’s always been a wonderful experience and something I always look forward to. It’s pricey but well worth it to have as a special treat.
