              Hula Grill is a beautiful restaurant overlooking the ocean. They had an entertaining lounge singer. The servers were friendly and attentive. What's not to love? The food. The fish and chips were bland with a weird thick breading. You can barely find the fish behind all that caked on mush. Once dissected, the fish was mediocre. I'd expect more from a beachside restaurant. The chicken Caesar salad was a disappointment with wilted brown lettuce and chicken dry enough to wipe off a car with. So much potential ruined by poor food quality.

              Ari was our server. She did really good. They sat us in a beautiful table. Service was excellent and the food was the best a great way to celebrate merry Christmas with our family thank you very much.

              Unfortunately, we were seated 20 minutes after our reservation time that I made a month ago. The restaurant was out of several dishes. The entrees we were able to order, one came out cold and the other one was good. Disappointed in the inconsistent service and food.

              I had a solo on Christmas Eve and the staff was amazing at making me feel welcomed and special. The recommendations were great and the food was fabulous! Thank you for such a great dinner!

              We had an excellent dining experience for Christmas Eve dinner. Cortney was our server . She was very professional and courteous. Did not care for the Pono pie.

              Hula Grill has been our favorite Waikiki restaurant for years -- all the ambiance of Dukes without the body-crushing crowd. We were there for lunch and ordered the burger (excellent) and fries (not so good... coated, which I understand keeps them crisp; however, I dislike them tremendously. I find french fries to be perfect on their own when correctly and freshly cooked -- which I would expect from an upscale kitchen like Hula Grill--coated fries are a cheap shortcut) Service was extraordinary, and, of course, the view was wonderful.

              The lanai tables were for reservations only so we had a great view. Our server, Cliff, was attentive and friendly. We had the strawberry mochi waffle, eggs Benedict with Portuguese sausage, link sausages, coconut espresso martini, Irish coffee, and island smoothie. Everything was delicious.

              Service too slow, wait 30 minutes order the foods and other hour later serve the foods. Don’t come if you rush for daily plan
