   We both had the escargot which tasted like nothing. The Cobb salad was good, but they covered up old lettuce with the salad dressing unfortunately. We both had sirloin steak which was very gristly. We use the valet parking at the Fairmont, which requires you to walk underground to the restaurant, and the staff has to sign your parking ticket to have it validated. The staff signed the wrong side of the ticket which meant we had to go back to the restaurant and have it signed properly before we could go home, which took us an extra half hour of walking . This restaurant used to be so good and we were so disappointed this time.

   The perfect place for all kinds of date! Food, customer service & overall experience was a solid 5!! The staffs are so welcoming & help with good recommendations for the meal. Really enjoyed the steak and potatoes. I’ll be back!

   Great service and good food! For those on a budget you may find equivalent food for less at a select few restaurants in the city, but it is very good quality.

   This is the Best Steak House in Winnipeg! Having been to dozens of Steak Houses for decades, I love that Hy’s offers many Steak current and traditional options with accompaniments. I appreciate that the Servers and Staff are professional and exceptional. The ambience and atmosphere are excellent. I think this is the perfect Dining experience to please and reward yourself and impress your companion(s). It is definitely a favourite Restaurant for any and all special occasions! I highly recommend it! You’ll love it, guaranteed!

   What a wonderful dinner as always and thank you to our waiter who made my daughters 15th birthday full of wonder , great excellent food , and genuine heartfelt conversation . You made her birthday special and unforgettable so thank you sir. Hostess as well was simply fantastic and made her feel important and like a little lady :) you guys were amazing and says that was the best food she’s ever put in her mouth lol

    Andrew was phenomenal! We were well taken care of and the food was second to none. My first time at Hy’s but wont be my last.
