Our cuisine is country French and Italian with a New Orleans influence. Although a majority of our seating is available for walk-in guests we do take reservations. While you wait we have a piano player and serve cocktails. We look forward to serving you.

    We visited the original location 15 years ago and were warmly greeted and had one of the best intimate dining experiences at the hidden gem. It was a MUST visit for this trip. We were pleasantly surprised Irene’s has expanded and the service has maintained the experience! If in New Orleans this is one of the greatest dining experiences all around. Thank you Irene and your team!

    In a city of culinary perfection to say that Irene’s is one of the best is high praise. This may be my favorite restaurant in New Orleans. Perfect blend of the region and food. Lamb chops are the best I have ever had. I could eat there every night. Since we live elsewhere we must settle for every time we are in NOLA.

    The food was great. Brown butter and soft shell crab, what a thing of beauty. Why is this not a thing? It was on Special and my it was so good. The drinks were good and sugar bear our server was great.

    Old school Italian. Very standard offerings done well. Nothing innovative. Great service. Somewhat intimate with a couple different rooms. Decorated nicely. Good wines by the glass.

    Irene’s has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants and go to spots when we come to New Orleans. Sugar Bear and A.J. are both phenomenal waiters and the food is fantastic. Would recommend to anyone looking for a high quality place for dinner.
