   It is not often that I get a chance to introduce someone to the amazing experience of dining here - she was amazed that she had never been before and will be back. The brunch menu was a surprise treat!

   We celebrated my husband's birthday yesterday with long-time friends. Our meals were outstanding and the Brasserie is small enough that we could enjoy each other's company and talk easily.

   We celebrated my husband’s milestone birthday last night at this familiar “neighborhood joint” for us. As always the food and service were great. Unfortunately I was suffering from a stomach upset so couldn’t eat any of the wonderful dishes on the menu. I inquired ahead of time and was assured that they can take care of my dietary restrictions. I informed our waiter who went back to confer with the kitchen a couple times and in the end, they served me a very yummy grilled chicken breast with different vegetable purées that allowed me to celebrate my husband’s milestone in a very nice fashion. The team was very attentive to our needs and I really appreciated it. We’ll be back soon.

   Another great experience at the Brasserie. The service, food, vibe, etc., cannot be bet. It was great seeing the usual gang (Danny, Jose, Sandra, Jefferson, and others, and it was great having a wonderful meal (onion soup, a dish with beef, lamb chop, veal, lobster and vegetables, and dessert. We were spoiled. What a wonderful way to bring in the New Year's. We'll be back!

   An "old reliable" that never fails. On December 30, for the first time in ages I had the sweet breads appetizer and the main course crab cakes. Outstanding! And the plumbing tart is back !

   This is my second favorite restaurant in the Washington D.C. area. The first being L’Auberge Chez Francois. The food is wonderful and the service is excellent here. It’s a true gem.
