   Such a beautiful location! The food was delicious and fresh and the service was attentive and pleasant. Would certainly go back!

   Very disappointed; the new remodel is beautiful, although we enjoyed the old interior as well. The real disappointment though was paying $36 for two tacos that were comparable to Taco Bell. (ridiculous machine made hardshell, very little meat inside). We also ordered the Tomahawk Pork Chop which was VERY good, and well worth the $50 price tag. It's NOT AT ALL about the money...we paid for the (overpriced tourist) drinks because we knew where we were and like the view and all of the people watching...but Javier should be ashamed (is he even Mexican??) at the presentation of the Baja street tacos....or maybe not, because the restaurant was packed with wanna-be's and influencer posers. The lack of dress code dumbed down the restaurant (Tshirts and caps??!!). This place is no longer high-end, except for the price they charge you. I may live local, but I think this is my last visit to Javiers (don't feel bad, I wouldn't go to Red O either)....I think I'll stick to Mastro's and Gulfstream.

   Everything from the friendly hostess to the helpful server was terrific. Food was very good and came out hot. Prices are fair.

   Food was great, drinks were good but I’ve never felt so rushed to get out of a restaurant. Our plates weren’t empty and they tried to take them, finally they brought the check without even asking if we wanted another drink or dessert.

   We came in early for our reservation, and were accommodated, which was nice. However, we got sat on table 44, served by Sergio Z we had a party of 4 not 5 at 4:33pm. The ambience was okay no music, and it looks different during the day. What really disappointed us was the service, the server would only speak to us in Spanish, now that’s fine but if some of us don’t speak Spanish he should be able to make us feel comfortable and speak English, I hate saying this because I’m usually okay with this but it was almost as he didn’t take us seriously because we were Latinos. He messed up all of our order, we had to keep calling out for him even for clean utensils, the service overall was poor. It is really unfortunate because this has never happened before. My party felt uncomfortable, and disappointed. To top it off the special request about the dessert was not acknowledged, nor did he ask us if we were celebrating anything. I can’t express how disappointed I was. I waited a week to give this review to ensure I was being fair. I still left the server a 25.00 tip although he didn’t deserve even that for how he made us feel, which was not valued.

   Food was excellent Margaritas were subpar The first one was extremely tart he added tequila and it was delicious We had the same bartender make the second drink And it was again tart We asked for more tequila and it tasted horrible We did not drink it but paid for it.    We have been here many many times but this was the first time since the remodel and I was very happy to see how beautiful everything turned out. Lots more room and a lighter brighter interior. The food was as always delicious. Service was good and hospitable. This is one of my all time favorite restaurants.
