I never write reviews and was extremely optimistic coming in for my wife’s birthday. I felt the ambiance was fantastic but found the food underwhelming, which made everything feel 30% overpriced. Very clean establishment. Maitre D took a photo of us at beginning of night. We felt welcomed. When we left tried to grab another and the maitre D walked away from us. Leaving us with an even more bitter taste. My wife enjoyed it more than I did, but won’t be going back even though it seemed like a ton of regulars.

I’ve eaten here a dozen times and it’s always been good. This time was not. They served me several courses of hot food before the sushi. None were good. One of the courses it turns out was an extra. Maybe was $160 for two? No one told me. I was full by the end time the sushi arrived. Wasn’t great either. It included a chewy piece of cooked tuna that I think they described as a tuna tender. I won’t be back.

Good quality and enjoyed the food and service. About 30-40% more expensive than I would have expected. Crowd was a bit pretentious and slightly off putting but that’s not the restaurants fault.
