   Katsuya-Hollywood definitely deserves the 5 stars! The food, the service, and ambiance was amazing. My friends and I loved it. Luis, our server, was part of the highlight of our visit. He was so friendly and welcoming and made sure my group was always well cared for. He answered all of our questions about the menu and even directed us to some of his favorites. Everything he recommended tasted superb and the drinks were incredible (their Yuzu Paloma and Katsuya Fresh are among my favorite). To say that we enjoyed our experience l is an understatement. We loved it! And will definitely be back soon.

   Waited 20 min after reservation bad experience the server just tried to finish with us. Don’t give us time push us to end and that was a date so that’s not something that I would like to come back never again

   I’ve been here many times before. It’s been a while since the last time though. I noticed a drop in level food quality and service. Our server didn’t know the menu well so some of the stuff we ordered ended up 86. The lyche martini was too sweet had to return. Replacement gin and tonic took forever to get to table. The spicy tune crispy rice was too “crispy” worse than I recall. It was my little son’s birthday dinner. Asked the restaurant at reservation time to get us a nice table but they didn’t care and put is right in the middle of their entrance. Didn’t bother to get him a complimentary birthday dessert. Overall was not a good experience this time. Hope this trajectory is not consistent and this is a blip. Remains to be seen.

   Amazing place amazing atmosphere got there early so we decided to have some drinks at the bar to which Rigo attended us did a spectacular job on our drinks and was patient with what we wanted when are table was finally ready we sat down weren’t really sure what to order for appetizers but are server Luis recommended the katsuya ceviche which was delicious the yellowtail sashimi , the rolls of sushi when we finally ordered our entrees were on point and sent over promptly to end the night he brought us an assortment of deserts that really was the cherry on top I will definitely be back as the food was good but the service was great 10 out of 10.

   Been to Katsuya a few times at multiple locations. The Hollywood location has a few more options and daily specials on the menu. Our waiter was Anthony, he was on his game! Very friendly, excellent service with a smile. We had the special cocktails inspired by the Harry Potter show. The Ravenclaw was beautiful and delicious!! The hufflepuff was also amazing flavors for a non alcoholic beverage. We had the blue fin flight special, the toro was the best on that flight. I would have ordered three orders of just that. Ordered 2 Nigiri of scallop & salmon, they were both extremely tender and amazing. We had our usual favorites the salmon lemon roll. Corn crunch roll, Rock shrimp, spicy edamame and an order of yellowtail with jalapeno. Always delicious and tasty. This is a good spot for a dinner before a show at Pantages.

   We enjoyed the restaurant. Great food. However I received a notice that my reservation was cancelled. That’s not night. Please credit me for the reservation. I made it.

    From beginning to end Luis was there to help us enjoy our evening! It was a rare date night for my husband and I so we made the most and went for the tasting menu which was amazing!!!! Simply divine. We ordered a couple of extra dishes as it was SO good and we wanted to explore more. It was a taste explosion!! We were so full at the end of the eve. A wonderful treat, highly recommend!
