Established in 2003, King’s Fish House is Carlsbad’s choice for seafood. Located just across from the Carlsbad Premium outlets and LEGOLAND, King’s Fish House features a large selection of fresh oysters, seasonal catches, sushi and live shellfish, including lobster and crab, on a menu that changes daily.

We’ve been in restaurants a little while – three generations, to be precise. A long time ago, we embarked on a road trip in search of the ultimate seafood experience. We traveled down highways and byways, pulled up a seat, put on bibs and soaked up the seafood experience: the no-name dishes with unforgettable flavor, the fresh-caught oysters and clams piled high, the hand-lettered specials on ancient chalkboards and the savory simmer of every combination of spices imaginable.

    From the moment we walked in, until the moment we left, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The KFH family sat us in our favorite booth, and one of our favorite servers (Alex) greeted us shortly after. Our wine was uncorked (there is no corkage fee at KFH), and we made our choices from an extensive menu. Great food, great service, and a great ambiance made the nighr.

    Overall good for a chain seafood restaurant. Kind of a cross between a sports bar and a fish house. We had Cioppino and macadamia crusted sea bass - both were good but not the freshest. Service was very good and price point was ok.

    We arrived way earlier than our reservation but they got us seated Food and service was Excellent Serving size was larger than we expected Would recommend this restaurant to anyone that likes seafood

    Always a treat! Great food, great service. Rose’ paired well and was excellent with my lobster. Clam chowder is the best around bar none

    I hadn't been to King's Fish House in years and when I walked in I was pleasantly surprised at how it had been remodeled since I was there last. It used to be kind of cold with hard wood booths but now it was much more attractive and comfortable. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation and were seated immediately. The service was very good and our server was delightful. I had a wedge salad and the tuna melt sandwich. The salad was a generous portion but whereas most wedge salads have chopped tomato on top of the wedge this one had one over-salted slice of tomato on the side. My tuna melt was absolutely tasteless. My husband had fish and chips and he said it was only fair. On top of that the room was very noisy. I don't think we'll be back.
