   The food was amazing. Had the wild African lobster tails and it was to die for. Cooked perfectly in every way and the sides were delicious too. Unfortunately the service was not good. Made a reservation and upon entering there were 3 other sets of people waiting to be seated. The hostess was super slow, had no sense of urgency to seat anyone. The place was not at all packed so it was unclear as to why there was such a wait to be seated. My party and I waited for 10 minutes to be seated as two more sets of patrons came in. Everyone was sat and my party and I were the last to be seated. We were only a party of 3. The waiter Belem was below average. We barely saw him and when we did it seemed difficult to get assistance without him dashing off into the unknown. We didn’t even order dessert because we didn’t want to wait another 30-40 minutes hoping Belem would appear so we could order and then reappear to ask for our check etc etc. I’ve had amazing service at this restaurant and location so I’m hoping this was just a one time thing.

   Our (4) food arrived cold so we sent it back. When it arrived the second time we were astonished at how delicious it was. If was a birthday so we had a cheesecake. We all said it was the best cheesecake we had ever had.

   The restaurant was very busy. We were seated and our order taken promptly. Unfortunately, our soup arrived with dinner that we turned away. Our meal was excellent...cooked to perfection. Our waiter offered a complimentary dessert for the delay in bringing our soup. We appreciated the gesture very much. If the restaurant was less busy, it would have been a more enjoyable experience.

   even though we had a reservation, we still had to wait 25 minutes. I finally asked if they honor reservations. reply was yes. We were then seated.

   Grace was our waitress again. She is amazing and so attentive and polite. Sat outside for the first time. It was comfortable and quiet. A little dark but nice.

   Shawn, our server, is a consumate professional, remembers our preferences, and anticipates our requests.. She is a gem ! Too much breading on the crab cakes. Prices have increased yet again since we were here a couple of months ago.

   We love King’s but the bar is so slow. We learned that we have to order a second drink minutes after the first. Don’t understand their procedure. Also, it has gotten so expensive. We shared a wedge salad and my husband got a cup of chowder. He had a beer and I had a vodka martini. $50 plus we gave a nice tip. Yikes.
