   I booked a valentines dinner at L2 Grill and showed up on time for my 4:00 pm reservation. After we were seated we ordered our drinks and then after started looking for the menu. They only gave us a drink menu and a valentines menu. When the server brought our drinks I asked if we could order from the normal dinner menu and she said she would check with her manager and come back. She came back and explained it was only the valentines menu. Not a problem, I wasn’t upset or bothered at all. What happened next has absolutely floored me and I will never ever return to this restaurant again and will reconsider my staycations at the fantasyland hotel. Less than five minutes later, as I’m drinking my beer and my fiance was drinking her beverage the server came back and apologized and said we would have to leave as they were very busy for Valentine’s Day. We were welcome to go downstairs to L1 lounge if we were only drinking. I counted the tables and there was literally three tables including us. I really wish I had taken a photo to show how few tables there was.

   Reasonably priced for what you’re getting and cooked to perfection. Hot food. Great portions. Especially loved the dry ribs, L2 platter for 2 & crème brûlée. 5 star attentive service. Until they get busy, dealing with a line up out the doors but still felt taken care of and looked after. All the staff work together so you don’t have to speak to your own server for a beverage, refill, etc. Will definitely dine in again! Happy Valentine’s Day!

   Service was excellent, server was attentive but not overbearing. Food was delicious, only wish we had more appetite.

   Went for Sunday brunch buffet. Everything was fresh and at the right temperature. Service was fine with empty dishes removed promptly by friendly staff. The only disappointment was that coffee and tea were an extra cost. This struck me as strange since coffee is free in the lobby of the attached hotel.

   Very good environment. We love it. Food good ,service very good. Everything is good . But if have some fruit be better.

   Steak sandwich was not seasoned at all. Very bland and disappointing. After food was delivered, no staff came by to ask how it was. Has to flag a waiter down for a pop refill. Overall disappointing. Fries and gravy were delicious!

   The food and service were excellent. The only negative of our experience was halfway through our meal a family of 6 was seated next to us (in an otherwise completely empty restaurant) and the kids (all under 6) were wandering around, being loud, and the parents kept getting up to use the washroom (they each went no less than 6 times in less than an hour). At one point, both of the parents were gone, and two of their kids left the restaurant and wandered out into the mall. The staff were excellent, and were basically babysitting those kids. But the whole thing really detracted from our dining experience.

    It was a great meal. A little bit of everything. If you enjoy meat and seafood the cost is worth it. Not sure I would recommend to a vegetarian at that price but there are still many delicious options. Not a fan of deserts but they were so decadent I had to try and was not disappointed. The atmosphere is cozy and funky. Impeccable service.
