   Our server was so friendly, the food was hot and delicious , and the atmosphere was great. I recommend it highly, we always try to eat here while in Santa Fe.

   Prime Rib was delicious and service was very good. The setting in the historic La Fonda Hotel made it even better.

   We go there every time we visit Santa Fe. Excellent green and red chili. Get the table side guacamole. .

   So, the whole experience was average. We ordered the "made at your table" guacamole as an appetizer. Well, it took so long that we received our order before our appetizer was even ready. Also, since I do not drink alcohol, I asked if they served soda or tea or lemonade, since none was listed on the menu. He said they did, so I asked him for a lemonade. He brought me a Coke, which I just accepted. That being said, they did comp me a dessert.

   Beautiful atmosphere. The food selection was varied, offering some local cuisine along with steak, chicken etc. The prime rib was excellent.

    The room is interesting and the menu is varied so it’s a good place to take SF visitors. However, last night was disappointing. We were seated 25 minutes after our reservation time. It took another half hour to order. A gin martini was made with lemon vodka and was replaced with gin infused water. On the balcony there was an Indian dance demonstration with drumming. (Who thought that was a good idea?) After ordering things settled down although the food was mediocre and given the choices for restaurants in SF too expensive. I’m taking it off the visitor list.

I am hoping the hosts served you champagne while you were waiting. The drumming was our annual "Lightning Boy" gala that had a 7-minute performance in our mezzanine.
