Restaurants near Angels Camp Museum

We have been wanting to try the Branch for a while and finally had the opportunity to do so. We kept hearing positive things and wanted to see for ourselves. They did not disappoint! From being greeted when walking in, to the service throughout our dinner, it was amazing. But the best of all was the food. I am not sure what Matt does to prepare his dishes better than anyone else, but he does it! Our food was amazing! With the closeness of the tables, we were able to speak and compare with others and we all said the same thing. It did not matter what people ordered for dinner, they were all completely satisfied. We will definitely be back as often as possible!

Service from James was great as usual. Food was fresh and prepared the way we expected. Always enjoyable experience.

The food and atmosphere was great. I split a salad with my friend and even the split salad was a good size. The service was friendly, personable, and professional. I’ve been here several times before and it’s always been a great experience. I will be back!

Food was delicious. I had the cheeseburger (add bacon, grilled onions) and truffle fries, my elderly friend, 89 years old, had the planked salmon & said it was really good (and he’s a retired chef so that’s quite a compliment). Of course we ended with a butter cake, which, IMO, is a no-brainer…it is amazing and great to share. Just order it at the beginning:) Our waiter, Frank, was beyond amazing. He’s waited on me before and he’s consistently friendly, attentive and helpful with suggestions. I can’t say enough great things about him. Since it was Monday night, the football game was on in the bar area (and trust me, I’m all about football, have my own FF team) but it was a bit loud and hard to hear each other talk. But, other than that, a fantastic meal out and one I highly recommend.
