- DDannyNew York City •8 reviews5.0Dined 1 day ago9e is an elegant yet relaxed restaurant, with excellent servers, very polite and respectful, and beautiful background music from several cultures and time periods. Our meals were simple yet perfectly prepared (an omelette for my friend, and beer-battered cod with greens for me). We celebrated with a glass of prosecco, and shared a wonderful dacquoise, a decadent chocolate cake with a praline outer layer, and rich cream to spoon on the top. A great treat for us both!More infoLe 9e - Restaurant Ile de FrancePrice: Expensive• French• Downtown•4.6

Servers lovely but service slow especially in bar waiting for drinks to be made, and in restaurant waiting on bill. Dinner with cocktails, bottle of wine, shared beet salad & halibut main courses each, with tip $375More infoBar GeorgePrice: Expensive• British• Downtown•4.6

- MmichaelNew York City •17 reviews4.0Dined on Oct 18, 2024Bungalow has essentially a classic bistro menu with some updates. Fried calamari with salad was an excellent appetizer for two people to share. It seemed fresh and well-prepared. Mains of steak (cooked exactly as requested) and navarin d'agneau (underseasoned) were perfectly fine withoug being at all distinctive. In short, exactly what I usually want from a bistro: a predictable meal of good quality ingredients, classically prepared with no surprises. On the night we were there, it was not at all crowded, so noise level was fine. But we could easily hear the conversation of a table at the other end of the restaurant, so I imagine it might be noisy when full.More infoRestaurant BungalowPrice: Expensive• Market Cuisine• Plateau Mont-Royal•4.8
