Riccardo and Marybeth welcome you to their 3rd property, Maribella Ristorante. Opening R Wine Bar & Kitchen in 2018, and Vespa Catering and Brix Wine Bar in 2022, they have created a culture of hospitality for guests who feel like family. Riccardo was born in Florence, Italy and moved to Boston when he was 5-years-old. He stayed in the Boston area for college and attended Tufts University. Marybeth, born and raised in Sioux Falls, SD, moved to Boston to be a nanny and went to Somerville School of Nursing. The two met in Medford, MA, dated and became engaged in Oak Bluffs on Martha’s Vineyard in 1996. Relocating to Sioux Falls, SD in 1999, Riccardo and Marybeth have developed a reputation for making people feel welcome with their three boys, Dante, Berent, and Jaxon. Together with their hand-picked team, Riccardo and Marybeth bring the best parts of hospitality to life in their restaurants, for both their staff and guests. The two met, fell in love, and became engaged on Martha’s Vineyard island. Moving back to Sioux Falls in 1999 and working at several area restaurants, they opened R Wine Bar in 2018. When I was a child I grew up with my mother, grandmother and aunt. All of them were very good in the kitchen. They had different styles and they cooked every day. From ravioli, soup or patisserie, everything was made from scratch. Those ladies were my teachers. My first lesson was dishwashing, later it was helping as their assistant. To honor those amazing woman who helped me in my early days, I decided to open Tarquin to bring Sioux Falls our flavors, recipes and dishes. Tarquin is a piece of Buenos Aires in a remote corner of Sioux Falls commercial district. You are always going to be welcome here and we will always offer you our best.

    Wow where to start, what an amazing business meal tonight. Best place I have ever ate at in the entire state of South Dakota!! Our server Zach was outstanding and so attentive. It was 5-star service and he made it an awesome experience. The steaks were to die for the side dishes were amazing, and the oysters in the half shell were so FRESH! This place has one of the best views in the city of Sioux Falls, overlooking the Falls. I cannot wait to go back!! We will be asking for Zach as our server again, he made our business meal this evening a five star experience. Kudo's to the kitchen staff and chef, your food is the best I have ever had growing up in South Dakota my whole life. I never right reviews, but I could not way to do this one tonight when I got home. We will be back!!

    We had a wonderful evening! It was our 26th anniversary an we were treated like royalty before we even mentioned it was our anniversary. The food/wine was just amazing as the service!

    Food was really good. Was a limited menu due to kitchen renovation. Lunchtime portions are too big for this temporary menu. Prices are getting g to be very high. Wait staff was amazing.
