Located on the sixth floor of The Mayson Hotel is Ryleigh’s Rooftop Restaurant, with outdoor terrace. Take in the panoramic vista of the Dublin Mountains, the River Liffey, the city centre and even as far as Dun Laoghaire on a clear day! Comfy leather clad booths line the windows. An open kitchen and grill adds a sense of theatre to the room. Floor to ceiling windows make the most of the views and the only walls in the room are clad in beautiful veined marble. The food was nice however we ordered nachos and for an extra €7 added chilli beef but we found this to be very scarce. It wasn’t a lot. And just for the price, we expected more. We got wings and chips. Wings were spicy absolutely delicious. The chips were not great, very soggy. We never got water or wipes with the wings which I thought was strange. The Guinness my boyfriend got wasn’t great. Very flat so just wouldn’t get that again. But the pints and wine were nice.

Overall experience in this restaurant was great although some elements of the food could have been hotter but flavours etc and choice are phenomenal. Well done in creating a great space with great staff.
