We go to the Keg once in a while to enjoy a great steak. This is an excellent place for high quality meals. Always excellent all around experience.

Joe Beef is a great restaurant and a must visit if you are in Montreal.

The Express Luncheon Buffet on Wednesday March 5th at 11:45 was excellent. The staff and service were very attentive. The Luncheon Menu was very diversified. I especially enjoyed the cream soup, the mushroom stuffed ravioli, and Beef Bourgnon. The atmosphere was very warm, noise level was acceptable. Our party of 4 , thoroughly enjoyed our luncheon. The only disappointment was that the delicious Choclate Fountain was not part of the dessert section. Stunning historical setting that is a must see for all looking for a fabulous dinner venue in Montreal. Servers lovely but service slow especially in bar waiting for drinks to be made, and in restaurant waiting on bill. Dinner with cocktails, bottle of wine, shared beet salad & halibut main courses each, with tip $375

Great menu with delicious food and drinks options at a reasonable price. Nice ambiance, quiet restaurant. We had made reservations prior to our arrival at this restaurant. The waiter seemed unaware of our reservation, but thankfully there were plenty of seating options as the restaurant wasn’t busy. We had specified at the time of reservation that we were celebrating a birthday, however this was not acknowledged at all while we were there. The waiter was quick to take our order. Initially we wanted the charcuterie board, however we told that the chef didn’t have all the items on hand to make this. We decided to go with the brie instead and it was delicious. All in all, we’d give this place another shot if we happen to go back to this area.
