Restaurants near Holmes Park

We have been going to Lynnwood's for many many years and have always had wonderful meals. This last meal was disappointing for me because the ribeye sirloin steak was course and tough and not very good. My appetizers were wonderful. I had the crunchy oysters. the Caesar salad was delicious But my steak dinner and the cream spinach were blah. My wife's dinner was excellent. She had the beef tenderloin dish and a cup of cream of crab soup, which was also excellent. We certainly will be coming back, but I don't think I'm going to order sirloin or ribeye Cut of steak anymore 

This was our second time here. We returned because the service the first time was outstanding and we also enjoyed the food. This visit didn’t disappoint. I took the recommendation of our server, Gabe, for the Chilean Sea Bass. It was perfectly prepared and came with a sauce that was so good I wanted something to sop up the last bits with. I praised it so highly that the Chef came out to say hello. Grill 620 is one of our favorites.

Service started off very slow at the beginning-- Waiter took over 20 minutes before they first approached our table -- restaurant was very busy for Valentine's Day. Service improved and was considerably better later in the evening. Food quality was good but my veal dish was nearly cold when it arrived while my compassion's meal was piping hot! Menu was limited to Valentine's Day specials -- definitely a bit of a disappointment. Overall a good experience but not up to the usual standards for this restaurant -- always a risk going out to dinner on Valentine's Day!! Quite honestly, my wife and I have had several far worse experiences than this eating out on February 14th!!!

Always enjoy dinner at The County Cork! The Valentine's Day special menu had several great items; I thoroughly enjoyed the Smoked Beef Spare Ribs entree. My Gin Martini was crisp and dry, just about right; Creme Brulé for desert with delicious caramelized sugar crunchy top! Highly recommend to folks in and around Sykesville/Eldersburg, or anyone visiting from out of town!

I love the food, service and atmosphere. I was a bit concerned when they seated us at a table directly in front of the piano player/singer. The volume was low enough that it enhanced the ambiance. Well done.
