Restaurants near Chinqua Penn Plantation

It has been a few months since I have been to GVG and it felt like a real treat to be back. It is warm and inviting with superb service that is not intrusive. I happened to be sitting so that I could see the kitchen and it was great to see the brick oven and added to the ambiance. Food was prepared well and of course nicely presented.

Thuds was our 4th 5th visit, but it had been a year since we ate here. The menu was new since our last visit, which was nice. My wife and I shared the meatballs for an appetizer and they were tender and tasty. I had the apricot glazed chicken and it was excellent; so tender that it almost melted in my mouth. My wife had the pork steak and she said it was also tender and delicious. We enjoyed Celtic Fringe as we always do. Never had a bad experience!

Diamond was our waitress and she gave us an amazing experience. She was so knowledgeable about the menu and made sure we were comfortable and satisfied with each course we experience. We will return to have her as our waitress exclusively. I hope that you all recognize her for the wonderful service she brings to each table she encounters.

This was our first time back at Lucky 32 since the pandemic. It was (again) a very pleasant experience with a warm atmosphere, friendly staff and a great dinner.

High Tea at the O’Henry is the perfect girls afternoon out. I love trying new and different teas, and the selection of sweet and savory bites are delicious.  Tip: if you are trying to go on a weekend anytime in November or December, you need to make a reservation MONTHS in advance!
