- AAvestWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoFantastic food, service and ambiance as always. We have been coming here for the past two years and it hits the mark every time. We always get Raw Oysters, Oysters Rockefeller, and the mussels in the white wine cream sauce. SO GOOD!More infoPublic Fish & OysterPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Charlottesville•4.9
- RronniVirginia •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThe Local is a Charlottesville favorite for those seeking great food in an energetic environment. The food is well-prepared and consistently great tasting. Even with a reservation, there may be a 10 - 15 min wait, but it is well worth it!More infoThe LocalPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Charlottesville•4.5

- GGailVirginia •14 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThe Ivy Inn offers very high quality food selections in a relaxed, lovely older house, or patio, setting. Nearly every ingredient is made in house, including wonderful breads and desserts. In an increasingly mediocre, expensive dining landscape The Ivy Inn is truly worth every penny! It is by far our favorite restaurant to dine at in the Charlottesville area.More infoThe Ivy Inn RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Charlottesville•4.9
- DDavidVirginia •5 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 9, 2025My wife and I had a dinner on a Saturday night - we showed up an hour early because our night was a little more fluid than expected. We were able to get a seat at the bar (which we love), and it wasn't an issue, even though they were quite busy. We started with Edamame, each had a cocktail and a glass of wine - the ginger gimlet was delicious. I had two rolls and my wife had 1, and each was amazing. The Spicy toro and dragon roll have never disappointed - and the spicy toro has become one of my favorites. It was the night of Tony Bennett being honored at the UVA men's Basketball game, and 30 minutes after we arrived, a handful of former players, including two current NBA players came in to enjoy Ten, a sign that the restaurant is remembered well by those who have been in Cville, and quality enough for men that can afford the best a town has to offer!More infoTenPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Charlottesville•4.9
