In the early 1970's, an old train caboose was added to provide a unique dining area. Food was great, server was really nice and knowledgeable. The restaurant is a little hard to find, it's back behind some big office buildings without much signage. I was worried we wouldn't be able to see anything out the huge windows but they had lights out there so you could still see the trees even at night.

Chateau Morrisette is my favorite winery in Virginia. We have dined there several times and never disappointed. We went today and it was fairly quiet business wise. It was a group of 4 and Chris, our waiter was fantastic. He clearly understood my allergies to nuts, seeds and my alpha-gal. The food was amazing and prepared with my safety in mind. We are planning to go back a little more often. A great place for a nice quiet lunch.
