Restaurants near Hollywood Cottages

To dine at Musso & Frank’s Grill is to have an experience like no other in LA: old world style, dishes that have long since disappeared from the menus of any other of its competitors and the pleasure of knowing that one is dining in a space that has probably catered for virtually every great name ever to have graced Hollywood in the course of the past century. Look beyond the cheap and tawdry pseudo glamour of the rest of the Hollywood strip and allow yourself the pleasure of an authentic experience you will never forget, long after the memory of all the dross of the surrounding razzmatazz has faded into oblivion. Worth every penny twice over.

I like the decoration and atmosphere. I can also tell that the restaurant put a lot of thoughts into the food as the food combination is very creative. I would probably rate the restaurant 4.5 instead of 5 because 1. we asked for grilled medium rare wagyu but it came out to be almost well done. Plus the meat doesn't really taste like wagyu, so I'm guessing it's probably american wagyu. 2. the lobster fried rice has too little lobsters in it.

We had a fantastic birthday dinner, party of 8, and the patio was perfect! The ambiance, the food and the wine was also perfect! One of the owners waited on us personally, and as always was extremely friendly and accommodating. We always enjoy our time at Fabiolus Cucina!

Such a fun spot and the avocado toast was amazing

This is one of the best omakase I’ve ever had in the US. The fish is extremely well handled: he knows what he’s doing and the flavor profiles range from highly traditional and refined to adventurous California sushi. The chef has such a fantastic personality; by the end of the night he joined us in a round of beers.
