Steiner Ranch Steakhouse is a 14,000 sq ft restaurant built in the hill country overlooking Lake Travis. We have three levels, four bars, and a large outdoor dining area with breathtaking views. We’re serving up chef inspired, farm-to-kitchen dishes & craft cocktails out of our ‘from scratch only’ kitchen and bar. Microwave? Never heard of it. We use slow-cooking methods on our live-wood grill, smoker, and spit because food just tastes better that way.We believe that local is a place as much as it is a way of eating.     The food was delicious, but this steak house is high end so very expensive. We knew going in it would be expensive. You do not get food that delicious without paying for it. We were celebrating our 30-year anniversary, and we wanted something out of the ordinary and that is exactly what we got. Everything was to our liking except it took a long time to get our food. Other than that, I still give my experience 5 stars.

    We went for Valentines Day on Thursday night instead of Friday because we couldn’t get a reservation for Friday. Absolutely everything we had we so delicious. We had the charcuterie starter, the house salad, the half hen and lobster tail dinners. Our servers were excellent, checking on us but not bothering us. I was surprised that the bill wasn’t as bad as I’d been expecting for all the food we had!!

    Chef Matilde and waitress Melissa were wonderful. For dessert, we had the fried Oreos which were out of this world! The tasted light and fluffy and reminded me of what Oreo beignets would taste like. We’re coming back just for this dessert!! Beautiful views as well.
