- DDeniseAsheville / Western North Carolina •19 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe have eaten at Columbia in St Augustine a couple of times and this was our first at the original restaurant in Tampa. It was a Monday night and we’re glad we had reservations because it was really busy. The interior of the restaurant was very beautiful and the walls showcased the history (from 1905). Jim, our waiter was great. Very helpful regarding the menu and sharing the history of Columbia. I had sangria to start and it was good. The Cuban bread and butter was absolutely wonderful. We didn’t order tapas because we knew the entrees were pretty large. We shared the Pollo Manchengo and Shrimp Gonzalo (not sure on the spelling). Both were good. We thought the Pollo had more flavor than the shrimp. The yellow rice was okay and the vegetable was broccolini, and was good. We finished with the bread pudding. Definitely enough for 2. It was very good. The restaurant doesn’t have good acoustics and is very loud….just from conversations. We also found that to be true in St Augustine. Prices were average, in the range from $28-48. Overall, we had a very nice meal and were glad we went. So much history both at the restaurant and in Ybor City. If you are in the area we would recommend giving it a try. We don’t get on the west coast of Florida very often but will definitely go back to the St Augustine location in the future.More infoColumbia Restaurant - Ybor CityPrice: Expensive• Spanish• Tampa•4.7
- KKayleeTampa / Central Florida West •6 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe loved predalina. We sat outside and the temperature was perfect and not noisy ! We loved our server Frankie! We started with zucchini chips and saganaki both were amazing. For our mains I got salmon and my husband got lamb both of which were so good. For sides risotto and carrots and then for dessert we tried the baklava and cheese cake. Everything we ate was seriously so good we couldn’t stop talking about it. Highly recommend this little spot if you love Mediterranean food and a cool atmosphere. Thanks Frankie!!More infoPredalinaPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Tampa•4.6
- CCatherineVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoAMAZING!! I've been many times and every time is an awesome experience but this time was truly exceptional. My family and I have food allergies - and my mom is on a very restrictive diet for health reasons. Our server Devon was incredible, so kind and patient and the executive chef Olivia came out and talked to us twice. They were able to custom make something for my mom and even used the oil she had brought with her! Truly a 5 star experience. The food was fabulous as always but the service was TRULY next level. It's also jus such a fun spot - great energy and vibe. Could not recommend more highly. Especially to anyone gluten free - these guys do SO much GF and they do it well! Very special to find so many deep fried delicacies gluten free as well. I've only had delicious food every time - my special faves though are the deviled eggs, parmesan clams and the fish and chips. Idk what they do to their fries but they are fluffy and crispy and so flavorful. Must go! You won't be sorry.More infoThe Pearl – TampaPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Tampa•4.7
- TTeresaTampa / Central Florida West •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoThis was our second time dining at Ulele and it was just as good if not better than the first. Despite it being Valentine’s Day the food and drinks came out in good time and everything we ordered was exactly as it should have been. The Barbacoa shrimp was delicious and the oysters are some of the freshest and best tasting we’ve had in Florida. Two of us ordered filet mignon medallions as a special and they were cooked perfectly. For dessert we had the bourbon butter cake with vanilla ice cream and it was the perfect end to a delicious meal. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and we will definitely go back again!More infoUlelePrice: Expensive• American• Tampa•4.8
- MMimiLos Angeles •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThis was the first time I got to experience Boulon Brasserie and it was wonderful. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. We ordered the blue crab beignets to start, then enjoyed the Chef special lamb plate and the duck confit. Unfortunately, the duck was a little overcooked for my liking but the flavors were delicious. The lamb was cooked to perfection. As a new Tampa native, I was happy to see that there are restaurants that remind me of California the culinary scene. It felt a little like home here and I will definitely be back.
