- MMikeChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoDate night out with my spouse and her choice was La Pazuela in the Hotel La Fonda. Ambiance was excellent…beautiful romantic dining room as well as a separate tavern with live music—-flamenco guitar trio, I believe. Our hostess seated us promptly for our reservation for two and bottled water and a mocktail was ordered. Our server, Bryan, was on point with menu recommendations and explanations. We ordered the Chiles Rellenos (one cheese and one shredded beef) and a chicken enchilada duo with “Christmas Chile Sauce.” Nothing was too spicy, the accompanying posole and pintos were excellent as well as the entrees. After dinner coffee and a shared pineapple upside down cake was a perfect finisher. Afterwards, we sat for a bit in front of a huge, cozy fireplace—how idyllic. The service staff didn’t miss a beat, the hostess validated our parking, and we were on our way to stroll the town square and enjoy the holiday lights. Strongly recommend staying in the hotel if you’re visiting Santa Fe and enjoying the fireplace seating areas as well as a reasonably priced dinner at La Pazuela.More infoLa Plazuela at La Fonda on the PlazaPrice: Expensive• Southwest• Santa Fe•4.7
- BBillVIPWashington, D.C. Area •31 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWe love Market Steer. It’s our third visit since summer and it wow’s every time. The bar is lively all the time. I really appreciate the attention given to the NA drinks. The service is the best in this pueblito; everyone from the front of house leadership at the door to the bussers who take the water order and check on you throughout the evening. We come for the food and it’s excellent: but, I wish the pasta with the lobster was more interesting than penne (toasted fregola, for example) and the strip were salted a bit more. Overall this is a restaurant we treat ourselves to when very we deserve it and we keep coming back for more.More infoMarket Steer SteakhousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Santa Fe•4.8

- AAndrewNew York City •13 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 3, 2025The same food that is at every other restaurant in Santa Fe. Like the classic meal for American's in 1970. Who ever this guy is who's destroyed the food scene in Santa Fe needs to stop.More infoJulia – A Spirited Restaurant & BarPrice: Moderate• American• Santa Fe•4.5
