Restaurants near Alaqua Country Club

This is IMO the best steak house in the Orlando area. From the food, to management to the excellent service from the wait staff (special shout out to Johnny) makes this a must for us on a weekly basis. Order the Japanese Milk Bread, the dry ages NY strip blackened/medium, the corn soufflé, broccolini and purveu w/extra cheese. Top it off with the brownie for desert and you are in for a treat. Can’t recommend this restaurant enough.

Consistently great experience all around. Food, service, ambience/atmosphere and drinks are all superb and above average quality. Factor in the price and this place is a gem! Very fine dining experience for a great price and no sacrifices in quality. One of my favorite places to frequent for a great meal and to unwind after work with happy hour specials in the bar area or regular dining with my family in the dining room.

We love Ruth's. I wish there were holiday decorations in the dining room. That made the occasion mundane. Yes, nice tree in the foyer, but that was it. My 11.oz filet and shrimp were perfect, but the plate was sooo small, i could not add any sides to it, after I took the shrimp off the top. The garlic mashed had no garlic I could detect and were dry. I had to add table butter to soften them. Drinks were awesome, other than getting regular coke instead of diet on a refill. The Ceasar salad was one of the best I have had. The bread pudding was much better than my past encounters with it. Overall, a 4.5. Which in this day and age is a small miracle. And my wife's giant lobster was to die for.

We have decided this is our special Christmas dinner each year as the food is always amazing and the staff top notch. Something to look forward to whenever we eat here. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.
