Restaurants near Altamura

Another fabulous experience at Coles. Scratch that.. it was damn near perfect. No details overlooked this evening. Brian did a fantastic job taking care of us as we celebrated our son’s 22nd birthday. Crazy to think we have been going to Coles since before he was born!

Tired of just OK food and service?! In the heart of downtown Napa, you’ll find SCALA . . . offering phenomenal food with stellar service, great energetic ambience (without being too loud) and counter seating at the full bar with all their menu offerings . . . not to mention front row/box seats at the Chef‘s counter overlooking the kitchen/crew and pizza oven ~ and don’t forget the oyster bar too . . . We’ve been more times than we care to admit (lol). Some of our favorites include . . . the Veal “Scala-ppini” marsala and mushroom sauce ($36) that will leave you wondering what you’ve been eating at other restaurants . . . to the Pork Chop Milanese lemon, capers and butter sauce ($32) that’s pounded flatter than a pancake, super moist with a slight crunch ~ Note: make sure to ask for extra sauce (on the side) as you’ll want to swim in it . . . we could keep going with the menu items, although we’ll end with their over the top Lasagna (classic) layered with bolognese and bechamel sauces ($32) and whatever you do, do not share or ask anyone if they’d like to try it, as you’ll never see it again. 

Four friends gathered for a holiday celebration and annual reunion - Bistro Don Giovanni was the perfect place. We all dine here individually but this was the first time all together. Our waiter was wonderful as expected and very friendly. The house Don Giovanni red wine perfect. We shared a holiday appetizer and each had a different entree. We will all be back and maybe even together!

Having lived in Sonoma County for 34 years and now the concierge at Hotel Healdsburg, my visit to Bistro Jeanty was LONG OVERDUE. What a wonderful, delicious surprise to have enjoyed Christmas lunch with my Mom. The rainy weather was the perfect setting to enjoy all our french favorites - Crême de Tomate en Croute, Soupe a l’Oignon and our very favorite Boeuf Bourguignon. Thank you, thank you thank you for a memorable meal - We absolutely will be back. - Merci beaucoup

Swordfish generous portion but too much black pepper for our taste. Seafood pasta very good again with a generous portion. Complimentary cordial at end of meal was a very nice touch.
