Chef/Owners Lisa & Terry Harwood opened Vine Street Cafe in 2003. Located on South Ferry Road, just 1.5 miles from the South Ferry. Chef Terry works with area farmers, fishermen & vineyards and features their natural bounty on his seasonal menus. We make everything in house and Lisa's desserts, ice creams and fruit crisps are no exception. Recently, we opened a small market behind the restaurant. This is where you pick up take-out orders while stocking your home pantry. This restaurants consistency is unsurpassed. Food delicious plus great vibe and good pricing. Something that is hard to find in this community. The service was so friendly and attentive and for the value it’s one of the best restaurants of its kind. The menu is really diverse and interesting and their specials weekly are just amazing. Dining room ambience cozy and airy.

Wonderful food, wonderful drinks, wonderful service. It was Valentine’s Day, and there were several tables with a lot of young children. So it was unusually loud for the first half hour or so. That was a bit annoying. Once they left, the vibe definitely improved. Overall, though, I really love this place.

Intimate, quiet dining experience perfect for date night with your spouse, or just a first date. Cozy atmosphere and attentive service. We had the pork chop, and the mahi mahi, and we both would come back for it again.
