- KKarlaVIPChicago / Illinois •21 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoEverything good like always, the bread was a little burned and the hummus too much oil but I still give the 5 stars because the other things were really good. The drinks amazing!More infoavec River NorthPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• River North (Chicago)•4.8

- RRachelVIPChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoMy husband and I grabbed a last minute Valentine’s Day reservation at the Franklin Room and had the best meal we’ve had in a long time. Seriously spectacular! The cocktails were delicious and the bartender was fantastic, but the food was the star of the night. We shared the steak tartare and spicy mussels, and devoured every bit. He had the pasta al pesce and I had the Bristol Bay scallops, and I just know I will be dreaming about the scallops for weeks.More infoThe Franklin RoomPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• River North (Chicago)•4.9
- RRyanChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoThe dry aged steak selection was outstanding! I went with the cowgirl ribeye, while my wife had the prime rib special and let me tell you… don’t let the name fool you, the cowgirl is enough for any hungry cowboy! And our waiter, Joshua, was an absolute delight! This will be on my list for a nice dinner anytime we’re in Chicago!More infoChicago Chop HousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• River North (Chicago)•4.7
- TTheresaVIPChicago / Illinois •47 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI have so many nice things to say about dining at Obelix that i may need more space. First, the staff. There is no better trained, personable, knowledgable, and efficient team in Chicago. From the host, to the bartender, wait staff, and servers everyone knows they are there to ensure MY experience is memorable. They delivered beautifully. Next, the fabulous food. You get your first glimpse of what's to come when you enter the restaurant and see the kitchen. Choosing your meal is a challenge because everything sounds so delicious. With the help of our waiter we had escargot, pate, duck confit, and frites. The bartender helped us select an amazing champagne that you've never had of, and yet was better than the usual names on a menu. We concluded our meal with fromage and apple. The room acoustics are perfect. A full dining room and background music did not inhibit conversation despite the windows and concrete. The velvet banquets and subtle window treatment gives the room warmth as well as sound mitigation. Every detail is spot on. A great experience.More infoObelixPrice: Very Expensive• French• River North (Chicago)•4.8
