It was a very pleasant evening for Thanksgiving dinner. Partner had the turkey special and I had the aged bone-in ribeye, which was delicious. Jess provided very good service too.

Everything was really nice, our table was a great spot in the restaurant, it was busy for Thanksgiving but that was fine, we were deciding on wether or not to do the Thanksgiving dinner special or order off the real menu. Since it was thanksgiving we decided to do the Thanksgiving special. The food for that wasn’t that good at all besides the sweet potato casserole. Everything seemed like cafeteria food. I will say tho I love Ruth Chris like there actual menu is fantastic 10/10. That’s why I wasn’t upset or disappointed but definitely don’t settle for there thanksgiving dinner. Not worth it at all. I was craving thanksgiving food and it did not satisfy. Not only the quality of the food but the portions, like they only give you two small pieces of turkey. Anyways if your at Ruth Chris on thanksgiving definitely order a steak and anything off there actual menu it won’t disappoint.

This was the first Thanksgiving since my younger brother died at 47. Last year, in 2023, he made Thanksgiving for my parents and me. That memory burning in my mind and heart, I used OpenTable to search for a restaurant to take my elderly, brokenhearted parents to Thanksgiving dinner this year. I found Lombardo's and don't regret doing so. The ambiance was soothing while the food struck wonderous notes in everyone's palette. Not a plate was left dirty while nobody was remiss about not having a turkey and Stouffeur's stuffing and a can of cranberry something. We will be making this an annual visit (perhaps with some in between). Nothing could have been better for my family this Thanksgiving (other than having my brother back).

As always, we started at the bar for drinks and an appetizer. Very comfortable stools and delicious calamari! We were seated for dinner on the covered patio which we requested. Though cloudy, was perfect weather for dining outside. The soup to start was scrumptious and the traditional turkey dinner was more than enough. Our after-dinner drinks were delectable as I had the white chocolate expresso martini while my husband opted for an Irish coffee. What a wonderful dining experience!

The food was absolutely delicious!!!! Given that we are visiting from out of town, we WILL make sure to hit Portofino's on our next trip down to SC.
