Forever one of my favourite restaurants. From the service to the food, everything is spectacular. A must try when in Mexico.

Would highly recommend ! Best steak we have had in all of Mexico. Service was awesome ! They kept trying to upsell which was a little annoying but the service was great - they brought out birthday sparklers and a complementary cotton candy thing the size of a beach ball which went over great with the kids.

As a chicago resident, I’m accustomed great restaurants…especially a great steak!! Porfirios was simply a great meal. The steak (special) was outstanding. My kids loved their sirloin too. They made for great tacos. The service was attentive. And, what a great addition with the mariachi and Mayan dance performance. Truly appreciated our time and recommend to anyone looking for a quality dinner away from the hotel.

It has a nice ambience and friendly waiters but the prices are objectively laughable. They're very clearly inflated to the level of the expense of the resort but there's really no justification behind these prices. I'm from London and you'd struggle to find restaurants charging that much for the food being served even while sitting on prime real estate. It's a bit bizarre. Nice food. Good service. Absurd price points.
