Restaurants near Barber District Ranger Station

My husband chose this restaurant for his birthday dinner for the 2 of us. Reviews we read were mixed so the adventure began. The place was busy! Our server, Ryan, was thorough, helpful, attentive. The menu choices were intriguing and we settled in with beer and a cocktail. The complimentary bread course was a small and tasty 2 bite for each of us. We shared the endive salad - loved it. We shared the orecchiette with beef cheek - loved the flavors, but the orecchiette was too al dente for my husband - I loved it. We shared the half chicken which was beautifully charcoal prepared so meat moistness was there, the crispy skin was there, even some tasty fatty skin all served with charcoal grilled fennel, ripe green pitted olives, and fennel fronds. By now we were eating with our fingers because that's what you do with chicken this delicious! We shared the profiterole for dessert which was presented as a whipped cream-filled, crunchy caramel-topped beauty that was only slightly sweet and wonderfully flavored with grated lemon in the cream! No leftovers! Perfectly shareable for the 2 of us! Loved it! Oh, the music playlist this night was great for us!!

As usual my party of 6 had a great time with fantastic service, friendly folks and best steak and seafood in Boise.

Amazing food! Our server, Roman, was absolutely wonderful and did a fantastic job. We will definitely be back!!

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Boise! We are working through the menu and tried another new dish. Exceptional as always!!! The people, food and atmosphere are amazing! Thanks for another great evening!!
